Job Description
The Civil Defence, Govt. of West Bengal will engage Ex-Servicemen (NCO & Below) on a contractual basis.
ESM must be physically and mentally fit for Disaster Management duties.

Special Preference Criteria
- Darjeeling & Kalimpong: Personnel fit for hill rescue operations will be preferred. Preference may be given to Gorkha, Limbu, Lepcha, and other hill tribe candidates.
- South 24 Parganas : Swimming skills and water rescue capability are desirable.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Monthly Honorarium: ₹25,000/- per month
